Phillip Winrow, Vice Chair at NHS Stockport Clinical Commissioning Group, said:
“It’s not too late for those who haven’t had their first, second, or booster jabs to come forward. An experienced and friendly vaccination team will be on hand to answer any questions you have and to reassure you.”
“For those who haven’t yet had their booster, getting a spring booster dose before the end of June will allow enough time to extend protection into winter, and against any possible resurgence in infection levels.”
Councillor Keith Holloway, Stockport Council’s Cabinet Member for Health and Adult Social Care, said:
“While we all want to enjoy our summer, Covid-19 is still circulating in Stockport and the pandemic is not yet over.”
“One Stockport Hub is in a convenient place in the town centre so, if you are in one of the vulnerable eligible cohorts, get yourself a booster or, if you are the parent of a 5–11-year-old, please get them vaccinated. It’s also not too late for anyone over 12+ to get a first or second dose, or a booster for those aged 16+.”
