Victim Support Greater Manchester can give you practical help and advice, and the emotional support you need to cope and recover from hate crime.
They understand that effects of hate crime can last a long time. They can help immediately after an incident or any time after the crime and will listen to you in confidence and offer information, practical help and emotional support. Additionally they can help you to navigate the criminal justice system and give you information about dealing with a range of organisations, such as your employer and housing agencies, Services are free and available to everyone, whether or not the crime has been reported and regardless of when it happened.
If you've been affected by hate crime call the victim care team on 0300 303 0162 Monday to Friday 9am-7pm and Saturdays 9am-5pm., If you need support outside of hours, call the free support line on 08 08 16 89 111 or request support via the website.
As a result of the Coronavirus pandemic they have made their free live chat service available 24/7.
