If gambling problems are affecting you, or those close to you, GamCare is the leading UK provider of free information, advice and support for anyone harmed by gambling.

They too offer more local support at their Manchester and Salford locations via the GamCare Beacon Trust counselling.
Young people's support service
GamCare offer a service for people aged 11 to 18 years. If you're worried about your own, or someone else’s gambling you can self-refer by calling 0808 8020 133. GamCare accept referrals from Youth Outreach, schools, healthcare, Criminal Justice, parents and concerned others. You can also get in touch by emailing YoungPeopleService@gamcare.org.uk

NHS Northern Gambling Service
The NHS Northern Gambling Service provides specialist addiction therapy and recovery to people affected by gambling addiction, as well as those with mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and suicidal feelings. They also provide help to people close to those with gambling addiction, such as family, partners, and carers.
They cover the whole of the North of England including the north Midlands. Find details about how you can access the service.
Call 0300 300 1490 if you're aged 18 and over and have an existing gambling problem and:
- mental health difficulties e.g. depression, anxiety, trauma or suicidal feelings
- alcohol or drug misuse
- concerns about risk of harm to yourself or others
- frequent involvement with the criminal justice system or a history of serious offending
- adverse experiences in childhood that may underlie the gambling problem
- developmental problems, e.g. ADHD, autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or serious physical health difficulties
