YouthWatch Stockport's First Event

Healthwatch Stockport are holding their first ever YouthWatch Event on Saturday 28th September at ‘The Space’, 26 St Petersgate, SK1 1HD, 1pm-4pm.

YouthWatch Stockport will be for youth volunteers aged 14-25 to gain their ideas, experiences and views to improve rights and wellbeing in health. It will connect with other youth groups, schools and organisations so they can be as creative as they like – run competitions, make videos, set up a YouTube Channel - the possibilities are endless!

To make this happen – Healthwatch Stockport is working in partnership with various organisations such as Signpost for Carers, Disability Stockport and the Youth Council. Healthwatch Stockport will engage with young people to explore their ideas about YouthWatch and how they want it to run. The Young People will be able to discuss volunteering opportunities within the Healthwatch Stockport organisation and remit to help improve health and social care services for them!
