Healthy Young Minds
NHS SERVICE
1 in 4 people have some sort of mental health problem at some time in their lives. You are not alone!
This can include things like feeling stressed or worried, depressed, angry or overwhelmed. Sometimes these feelings can be a reaction to problems in your life like bullying or arguments at home, a response to memories or problems from the past or sometimes you just don't know why you feel the way you do. Healthy Young Minds is there to help.
Their Community Eating Disorders Service (CEDS) is part of Pennine Care’s Healthy Young Minds Service and provides dedicated care and support to children and young people with an eating disorder. It also offers advice and support to families and carers.
Young people can be referred to the service by a teacher in their school, a School Nurse, a GP or another health professional.
